Junior Years

About Junior Years

Each Junior Years student at Good Shepherd is important. We aim to maximise every student’s academic achievements and to extend their experience and imaginative understanding.

Sport

Good Shepherd offers a range of both curricular and extra-curricular sporting opportunities for Junior Year students. We believe involvement in sport is not only important to the health and wellbeing of our students, but it also encourages team work, participation and commitment.

The Arts

Good Shepherd offers a variety of opportunities for Junior Years students to experience the many forms of the Arts – from visual arts including drawing, painting and sculpture, through to drama, dance and music programs, both curricular and co-curricular.

Digital Technology

A key focus of the Junior Years program is to prepare our students for their future in an ever-changing digital world.

Excursions & Camps

Throughout the Junior Years, students have the opportunity to attend a variety of excursions. Students start attending camps from Year 3 with all camp and excursion costs included in the College fees.

Leadership and Opportunities

In the Junior Years, there is an opportunity for Year 5 students to serve as a College Ambassador.

Academic Support

Good Shepherd is a unique community of learners with a goal to develop and foster every individual in our care, within the means of our resources.
