Basketball

Basketball continues to be one of the most popular sporting choices for students. Boys and girls have the opportunity to develop their skills and participate in a range of competitions.

Coaching /Player Development

The basketball program has recently risen to regional prominence under the leadership of head coaches Shawn Sykes and Sam Webster. Shawn has been a professional coach for many years and runs the “step by step” basketball program in Brisbane. He regularly takes groups of upcoming players to the USA to broaden their experience and meet coaches involved in professional and College basketball.

Students have the opportunity to play representative basketball with the Independent district and Sunshine Coast Region and through Noosa Basketball.
