Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Good Shepherd Lutheran College, a Prep to Year 12 learning community serving families in Noosa and beyond.
In 2026, we celebrate 40 years of Good Shepherd, and we do so with deep gratitude. For four decades, this College has been built by people of faith who believed in education marked by grace, wisdom, and service. We honour that legacy as we continue to grow and look forward with hope.
As a Lutheran school, we are guided by a simple but powerful truth: each child is created and loved by God. Our students are not defined by their achievements, their struggles, or their mistakes. They are valued because of who they are. This conviction sits at the heart of our community and shapes the way we teach, lead, and care for one another.
At Good Shepherd, learning is held within a framework of grace. We set high expectations and pursue excellence, while also recognising that growth is not linear and that learning involves risk, perseverance, and support. Our classrooms are places where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and students are supported to think deeply, act wisely, and discover their God-given gifts.
Lutheran education speaks of vocation the idea that each person is called to use their gifts in service of others. At Good Shepherd, we help young people discern who they are becoming and how they might contribute meaningfully to their communities and the wider world. Academic learning, wellbeing, creativity, faith, and service are not separate pursuits here; they are deeply connected.
We are proud of the breadth of opportunities available to our students across learning, culture, sport, and the arts. Just as importantly, we are proud of the relationships that define this College relationships built on trust, compassion, and a shared commitment to walking alongside each child through the seasons of their schooling.
Good Shepherd is a place of belonging. A place where students are known by name, supported through challenge, and encouraged to grow in confidence and character. It is a community where faith is lived with humility, where grace is practised daily, and where young people are invited to live lives of purpose and hope.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our College. I warmly invite you to visit, to experience the life of Good Shepherd, and to discover how we partner with families in the education and care of their children.
Grace and peace,
Jen Gibb
Principal
